Alternative Media Meet-Up

In December 2018, we focused on alternative media — learning about the importance of all our voices and stories, how to make them heard, and the way news can be distorted depending on who is telling it. We made memes, took pictures and video, looked at and made our own zines in our makeshift infoshop, did printmaking, and learned about radio/podcasting while recording audio and conducting interviews with each other! It was also the release of our very first Budding Roses zine, full of artwork and writing from our 2018 summer campers.
